Alex Gillis is a Canadian university instructor, investigative journalist and author of A Killing Art: The Untold History of Tae Kwon Do. He has trained in the art for 25 years in both ITF and WTF styles (as well as in Karate and Tai Chi). He first heard the incredible stories of Tae Kwon Do from one of his instructors more than a decade ago.
